I just love the 6 prints by Beatrix Potter I found at my favorite Thrift Shop. They would be such a cute addition to a childs room ...but...my children are all grown. I framed them and put them on a small wall in the dining room. I always associate Beatrix with Rabbits....but these have a couple different characters that are so sweet......One Rabbit at a time........
I love Beatrix Potter! So sweet! I would be very excited about this find too! I have an old handmade plaque that someone lovingly decoupaged several of these characters onto. I ended up hanging it in my living room just because I love it so. Were these loose prints that you found? I know the hedgehog is Mrs. Tiggy Winkles and the frog is Jeremy Fisher. Thanks Amanda for checking out my new little friends. I found them in 6 loose prints. I framed each individual in a wood frame ( not lace-just for blog photo playing). Thanks for the names of Mrs. Winkles and Jeremy..I didn't know. Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteI find Beatrix Potter drawings so soothing and happy in a relaxed way that I wouldn't have resisted either to buy them for the child-in-me ;).
